Friday 25 July Grandparents Mass  Morning tea at 10:30am, - a  Grandparents only bus leaving at 11am is provided to transport  from our special morning tea at school to mass in Johnsonville.  Classrooms open for viewing between 9:30-10:30am and 12:30-2:30pm

Tēnā koutou e te whānau ō Hato Penetika,
Welcome back to Term 3! We hope you all had a wonderful and restful break and are feeling refreshed for an exciting term ahead. A special welcome back to those who are on road patrol this term, it is this most challenging season for crossing our children safely, and we appreciate your support. 

As this is a winter term, please remember that tamariki are welcome to wear dark blue thermals underneath both their school uniform and sports uniform for extra warmth. They can also wear their school jumper or sweatshirt as part of their PE uniform.
This term is packed with fantastic events! We're looking forward to:

• Pickle Ball and Softball for Sports - Sports uniform for Tuesdays Room's 9,11,12 and 13 Thursdays Room's 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8
• Grandparents Mass 25 July - a  Grandparents only bus is provided to transport  from our special morning tea at school to mass in Johnsonville.
• Mathswell ICAS and Australian maths competition
• School wide  Art Exhibition viewing 4th September 3-6pm. This event will include the beginning of our   strategic plan consultation.
• Year 7/8 Camp 9th-12th September  - 29th July Kauri Syndicate - Parent Camp Meeting for Makahika with Sally Duxfield 5:30pm
• Artsplash choir performance 12th September
• St Brigid's Kapa Haka festival performance 13th September

Safe Speed Limits Outside Our School

Safe Speed Limits Outside Our School 

Wellington City Council is rolling out safe speed limits outside schools across the city, including ours. 
As part of this programme, a new variable speed limit of 30km/h will operate during school travel times on roads outside our school gates. This change will apply within 150 metres of the school gates, helping to create a safer environment for our whānau as they arrive and leave each day.
